What is Renuvion’s skin tightening?
Renuvion skin tightening is a game-changing, non-surgical skin tightening modality. Renuvion skin tightening is also known as Renuvion J plasma or J-plasty. The procedure tightens mild to moderately loose skin, rejuvenating and tightening the skin. With no extensive downtime or scars, this surgery can be personalized to each treatment body part and each individual’s skin type and laxity. This skin tightening allows plastic surgeons to target the respective treatment areas and precisely control the laser’s heat to treat the designated area.
How does Renuvion’s skin tightening work?
This skin tightening procedure creates an energy stream (plasma) using radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten the loosened skin and cool helium gas to cool the area. Inserted through a small port on the selected treatment area, the Renuvion probe heats the skin through the created stream of energy while the cool helium gas consecutively cools down the tissue to not burn the skin. This radiofrequency (RF) energy is successfully focused without damaging surrounding tissues. This skin tightening procedure uses heat to allow the tissues under the skin to contract, therefore tightening the skin.
